The Team

Andrew believes in providing an outstanding range of skills and service to his salons clientele. To maintain these standards, he is committed to investing in continuous training in skills and knowledge for his entire team - no one is excluded.

Andrew's styling team is divided into 4 levels offering clients a wide range of choice in both price and experience.

Executive Level including Andrew are the most experienced and longest serving members of his styling team with an established clientele.

Hair Designers have reached this position due to their popularity with clients owing to their ability to provide consistent client satisfaction.

Senior Stylists have a minimum of 6 years hairdressing experience with a proven history of providing quality service and skills which is reflected in their popularity with request clients.

Stylists are all trained to Andrew’s skill standards and are in the earlier stages of their career as a hairdresser. As a result they are eager to please and win you as a loyal client.

Graduate Stylists are all nvq qualified and trained to the salons commercial training. We allow graduate and advanced graduate stylists up to 12 months to gain confidence and experience. We simply ask that you allow a small amount of extra time on your appointment.

Graduate Stylist Programme

The success of The Andrew Hill Salon is based on selecting the right people and investing in ongoing quality training in skills, service and knowledge.

To make the transition from senior assistant to a young stylist they must first have achieved the nationally recognised NVQ level 2 qualification, combined with The Andrew Hill Salon commercial training which advances their skill level. After completing their qualification we allow a further 12 months for them to gain more confidence and experience.

The first period is as a Graduate Stylist
The second period is as an Advanced Graduate Stylist.

A cut and blow dry with a Graduate stylist is: £21.00 (please allow 1.5 hours)
A cut and blow dry with an Advanced Graduate stylist: £24.00 (please allow 1 hour)

What you can expect from either a Graduate or an Advanced Graduate:

1. To be looked after from start to finish by one dedicated stylist.
2. A thorough hair review and informed advice.
3. They may also invite a 2nd opinion from an Executive stylist.

All work is supervised and guaranteed, we simply ask you to pay less but spend a little more time with us….and of course enjoy the experience exactly the same as every other client including refreshments, magazines, head massage.
